It might sound like more, but behind HUMDRUM Studio, I am the founder, buyer, designer, producer, photographer & sometimes even model for my products.
Founded in 2024, the big question was - what I would want to focus on if I wanted to go public with my passion for rummaging through flea markets, keeping and upcycling old things, and my desire to be creative.

The result is my small label. Here, things are tried out, pursued, and sometimes discarded again.

You could say I live by a philosophy of recycling & reusing. We live in such abundance that, in my opinion, so many things don't need to be bought new.

Thus, the upcycling jewelry design is also based on the idea of using old pieces of jewelry as a starting point for new designs. When selecting, I consider both material/quality and design.

My focus is on natural gemstones and freshwater pearls. I only deviate from this if the design is particularly special. For the clasps, I work with 925 sterling silver (gold is also possible on request).

This changes the classic design process away from a planned collection towards an intuitive creation of small collections and often unique pieces.
